~Thursday 10th April 2025

Our latest regular meeting took a slightly different turn, as our planned ceremony was postponed due to our Fellowcraft being away on business. In his absence, we opened and closed the Lodge in due form, conducted a small amount of business, and focused on an important item: the election of our Master Elect, Brother Tim Churchard. We extend our warmest congratulations to him and look forward to his year in the Chair.

With the formalities complete, the evening took on a more reflective tone as we were treated to a captivating talk by Worshipful Brother Henry Vincent. Drawing on his forty years in the Craft, WBro. Vincent shared personal insights into what it truly means to be a Mason, and explored the deeper symbolism of the Lodge and its officers.

The talk proved especially enriching for our junior Brethren, sparking thoughtful discussion and renewed interest in the deeper meanings behind our traditions. We are delighted that WBro. Vincent has kindly offered to continue his talk at a future meeting, expanding on the subject to aid in the Brethren’s daily advancement in Masonic knowledge.

The business of the evening being concluded, we then all ventured across the road to dine at the All in One on Park Street where it must be said, we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and look forward to meeting there again soon, possibly for a summer social, one of several we hope will be planned.

Here’s looking forward to our next meeting Brethren!
